This Information Notice has been prepared in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”) by the Danzarin Tango Marathon Organization Team (“Organization”), acting as the data controller, in order to inform you about the purposes for which your personal data will be processed, the methods of collection, with whom it may be shared, and your rights.

1. Processed Personal Data

Within the scope of registration, events, and similar transactions carried out during the marathon, the following personal data may be processed:
- Identity Information (Name, surname)
- Contact Information (Phone number, e-mail address)
- Visual and Audio Data (Photographs and video recordings) (Photos and videos including your image may be taken during the event. These recordings may be used for the organization’s website, social media accounts, and for the promotion of future events. Participants who do not wish to appear must inform the organization in advance.)
- Participation and event information (Event dates, reservations)

2. Method and Legal Basis of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data is collected through:
- Application, registration, and contact forms on our website,
- Physical forms or digital participation records at events,
- Photographs/video recordings taken at events,
Based on your explicit consent pursuant to Article 5/1 of the KVKK, or under Article 5/2(c), (ç), (f) in line with our legitimate interests.

3. Purposes of Processing Personal Data

Your collected personal data may be processed for the following purposes:
- Organization, management, and announcement of events
- Sending you information and event content
- Using images taken at events for promotional purposes
- Planning and improving the organization process
- Collecting feedback and maintaining communication
- Using visual content for event promotion (social media, website, posters, etc.)
- Ensuring participant satisfaction and carrying out communication activities

4. Transfer of Personal Data

Your personal data may be shared only with the organization team and necessary service providers (e.g., e-mail, registration infrastructure) within the purposes stated above. Photographs and video recordings obtained based on your explicit consent may be used on our website, social media accounts, and promotional materials. These data may only be shared with the relevant platform providers for promotional and informational purposes.

5. Your Rights

Pursuant to Article 11 of the KVKK, as a data subject, you have the following rights:
- To learn whether your personal data is processed,
- To request information if it has been processed,
- To learn whether it is used in accordance with its purpose,
- To know the third parties to whom it has been transferred domestically or abroad,
- To request correction if it is incomplete or incorrectly processed,
- To request deletion or destruction if it is unlawfully processed,
- To object to any result arising against you through the analysis of the data exclusively by automated systems,
- To request compensation if you suffer damage due to unlawful processing.
